About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Candidates must have experience in high-volume emergency settings and be a team player, adaptable within the department. Provide patient care in a 101-bed Level II trauma center with comprehensive stroke services. Administer treatments and medications as ordered by the physician. Collaborate with healthcare team members at all time. Ensure patient care protocols are followed within the ER setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 90 days of hire.
