About The Position

This is a full-time, night shift position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Epilepsy Monitoring. The role involves providing safe, patient-centered care, demonstrating compassionate communication, engaging patients and families in care decisions, promoting a safe and healing environment, and collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams. The facility is a 99-bed hospital with a dedicated team of physicians and staff focused on providing high-quality medical care. The department includes an ICU, an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) with EMU/EEG capability, and emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and a supportive, family-like atmosphere.

Requirements

Diploma in Nursing required, or Associate Degree in Nursing required, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, or Successful completion of an RN residency program
Registered Nurse (RN) – active license required upon hire
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 90 days of hire
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training – required within 90 days of hire
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
