About The Position

Mater Private Hospital Redlands is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy team. The successful candidate will be offered a casual opportunity, where you will be required to work across a rotating roster. The highly skilled and passionate staff provide outstanding patient-centred care to people recovering from relatively minor through to the more complex procedures.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
• Strong patient-service focus, demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement, willingness to facilitate and encourage cohesive, positive professional relationships

Responsibilities

• Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
• Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
• Providing quality care to patients undergoing Endoscopy and minor procedures. Includes pre/intra and post procedure care.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with other health professionals in the delivery of health care including preparing patients for discharge
• Working to ensure continuous quality improvement and abiding by risk management guidelines
