About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy department at Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. The position is PRN, working day shifts, Mondays through Fridays only, with 8-hour shifts, 1-2 shifts per week. The days may vary.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, direct nursing care by following evidence-based protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
- Drive the patient’s recovery journey by implementing and continuously adapting personalized care plans that respond to their evolving needs.
- Champion seamless communication by monitoring and sharing vital patient updates with the care team, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Lead as the primary care coordinator, aligning doctors, specialists, and support staff to provide a unified and holistic patient experience.
- Empower patients and their families by proactively managing discharge planning, ensuring a smooth and confident transition from hospital to home.
