About The Position
This position provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The Registered Nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient condition, serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
