About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in an Endocrinology Clinic, focusing on Endocrinology conditions and Osteoporosis. The role involves providing evidence-based, high-quality nursing care to patients via telephone, MyChart, and in-clinic. Responsibilities include assisting with care coordination and clinic procedures, educating patients and families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The nurse will utilize nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills to ensure excellent patient care and participate in process improvement initiatives. This role specifically excludes diabetes care.

Requirements

• Graduate of school of nursing
• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• Relevant RN experience Preferred
• Applicable clinical certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence based, high quality nursing care for patients via telephone, MyChart and in clinic.
• Assist with care coordination and clinic procedures.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, dietitians, and medical assistants.
• Use nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills to ensure each patient receives remarkable care.
• Participate in process improvement and quality initiatives.
