Registered Nurse- Endo
About The Position
Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Effectively interact with patients, families, & visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Provides physical and psychological support to patients. The RN will be trained for pre-op and post-op care of endoscopy, orthopedic, and urology outpatient procedures: pre-op assessment, VS, IV start, medication reconciliation. Post-op phase 1, phase 2 care. The RN will be trained as an endoscopy procedure tech performing procedures, instrument/scope reprocessing, and procedure RN circulator. This is a fast-paced department where staff work within the Operating Room and ICU at times. The team enjoys working together and having fun while ensuring patient care needs are met.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Current LPN or RN license by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current TB test.
- Must pass WRMC Medication/Dosage Calculations Exam.
- Must pass WRMC IV Therapy Exam.

- Flexibility with working hours, as days can be heavy volume and staff may be expected to leave early or stay late depending on patient care needs.
- Willingness to work on call shifts per month for inpatient care needs.
- Autonomy to change days with co-workers.
Responsibilities

- Function as a procedure RN circulator.
- Adhere to White River Health System's Standard of Behaviors.
- Maintain annual unit specific competencies and education fair.
