Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Dept Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better+Together Work location: Texas Health Cleburne, 201 Walls Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033 Work hours: Full Time, Nights (7p-7a) with rotating weekends/holidays Emergency Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department with 17 beds · Great partnership with our physician group · Several Clinical Excellence Awarded preceptor nurses.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
- BCLS – prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly
- ACLS – within 90 days of hire
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days of hire
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support – within 90 Days of hire
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course - within 12 Months of hire
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- One year of Emergency experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
