About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) Bring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N. Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033. Work hours: Full Time/Nights (7P-7A) 36 hours/week, 3 shifts per week, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements. Requirements

Nursing Diploma in nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
1 year of experience as a registered nurse required or completion of an RN residency program required
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months required
NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program if floating to Mother baby within 90 days requried
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience as an RN in an ED acute care setting strongly preferred
completion of ED residency a plus
