About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) for a 13-week travel assignment in Keene, NH. This position involves providing nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life cycle, utilizing knowledge of age-related growth and development. The role requires functioning in accordance with the nursing philosophy, objectives, standards of care, and standards of practice. The Emergency Department is newly renovated with state-of-the-art monitors and communication devices. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. The patient population includes Newborn-Geriatric. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center. This role requires the nurse to have their own vehicle as it is a small community without public transport. Travelers must work two blocks of holidays if scheduled/needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after, and New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after. All medical/occ health compliance items must be ordered/collected/resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload, with no more than 5 days accepted. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of current ED experience (more experience = first consideration!)
  • Must have Prior travel experience (at least 3 months)
  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Perm address must be uploaded in profile
  • Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
  • Must have New Hampshire RN license or Compact
  • Must have Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS
  • Must have Active American Heart Association ACLS
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
