About The Position

The SouthPark Emergency Department is a Magnet-designated facility and a 16-bed, free-standing emergency department located in the SouthPark area, a vibrant suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. It provides comprehensive 24/7 emergency services and is affiliated with the CMC Level I Trauma Center, ensuring seamless access to advanced trauma and specialty care. Through a unique, team-based approach to patient care, the department consistently achieves high patient satisfaction and team engagement scores, reflecting a commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate service.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • At least 6 months of RN experience.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred.

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills.
  • Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
