About The Position

The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Cleveland provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Cleveland County and surrounding communities, delivering high-quality care for patients of all ages. The department is equipped to handle a full spectrum of emergency needs, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions. It is a 36-bed Level III trauma center with around-the-clock physician coverage by board-certified emergency medicine providers. Resources are available for resuscitation, surgery, and intensive care for trauma patients. As a designated Chest Pain Center, the team is committed to quality care and adheres to rigorous clinical standards. On-call medical specialists are available for consultation to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new graduates).
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.
