As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering compassionate care to patients of all ages.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
  • Active Montana RN License required
  • BLS Certification required
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • ACLS & PALS (within 6 months of hire)
  • TNCC & ENPC (within 1 year of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • CEN Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting with strong clinical judgment and minimal supervision.
  • Perform rapid and accurate patient triage for all patients presented for emergency care
  • Collect and evaluate assessment data, prioritize patient care, and implement appropriate interventions based on identified physical and psychosocial needs while supporting efficient patient flow throughout the system
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and interventions, evaluating effectiveness and adjusting care as needed
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and Emergency Department physicians regarding patient status, clinical findings, diagnostic results, and patient flow.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition, treatment responses, and evolving patient care needs within the department
  • Support efficient patient flow throughout the department
  • Accurately document all patient care and clinical findings
