About The Position

The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Cleveland provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Cleveland County and the surrounding communities, delivering high-quality care for patients of all ages. From treating minor injuries such as fractures and lacerations to managing life-threatening conditions like heart attacks and strokes, the department is equipped to handle a full spectrum of emergency needs. The 36-bed emergency department is a Level III trauma center, offering around-the-clock physician coverage by board-certified emergency medicine providers, as well as resources for resuscitation, surgery, and intensive care for trauma patients. As a designated Chest Pain Center, the team demonstrates a strong commitment to quality care and adherence to rigorous clinical standards. In addition, on-call medical specialists are available for consultation, ensuring patients have access to comprehensive, coordinated care when needed. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • At least 6 months of RN experience
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred
