About The Position

Atrium Health Cabarrus - Emergency Department: Harrisburg is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for their Emergency Department. This facility provides 24-hour emergency care to Kannapolis and surrounding communities, equipped to handle patients of all ages and emergencies from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions like heart attacks and strokes. The department features 14 monitored beds, 5 vertical care spaces, on-site radiology and laboratory services, and respiratory therapists. Patients receive expert care from board-certified emergency medicine physicians and have access to the highest level of emergency care through Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, the region's only Level I Trauma Center. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new graduates).
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience required.

• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills.
