About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This position is for a full-time role working Weekend Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM). New graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply. The Emergency Department is focused on providing exceptional emergency service to patients and consists of 43 beds, including 11 fast-track beds. Emergency physicians are board-certified, and all emergency nurses undergo specialized training in emergency care and have received Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric certifications. This role involves assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overall patient care responsibility. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for patients.
Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree
