Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time
About The Position
Vitruvian Health, formerly Hamilton Health Care System, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Clinical Manager, will utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients of all age groups experiencing acute and chronic health changes. This role also involves demonstrating professional growth and development, including potentially assuming Clinical Manager responsibilities.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN as evidenced by primary source verification.
- Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
- Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS, PALS, Basic Arrhythmia, Moderate/Deep Sedation and TNCC preferred.
- One year of experience in an acute health care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process in the care of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing both acute and chronic changes in the normal health process.
- Demonstrates professional growth and development by assuming Clinical Manager responsibilities as requested and/or in preparation for advancement of Level II.
