About The Position

The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Union West is a 10-bed facility, including a dedicated trauma bay, providing care in a modern, patient-centered environment. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
  • At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new graduates).
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
  • 1 year of Critical Care (ED, ICU) experience required.

Responsibilities
