About The Position

SouthPark Emergency Department is a Magnet-designated facility and a 16-bed, free-standing emergency department located in the SouthPark area, a vibrant suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. We provide comprehensive 24/7 emergency services and are proudly affiliated with the CMC Level I Trauma Center, ensuring seamless access to advanced trauma and specialty care when needed. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • At least 6 months of RN experience
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
