About The Position

Purcell Municipal Hospital is in need of a full-time Evening Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department. This position involves working an evening shift from 11am to 11pm, with an average of 36 hours per week. The ER RN performs the primary functions of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. They are responsible for meeting Emergency Room Standards of Nursing Practice, managing all personnel, supplies, and equipment on their shift, and promoting a positive attitude and teamwork with staff physicians and personnel of other departments.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma RN license
• Previous ED work experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification

Responsibilities

• Performs the primary functions of professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care.
• Responsible for meeting Emergency Room Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Responsible for managing all personnel, supplies and equipment on his/her shift.
• Promoting a positive attitude and teamwork with staff physicians and personnel of other departments.
