About The Position

This position provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role involves assessing, preparing, and positioning patients, performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring, and preparing, implementing, and documenting the plan of care. The nurse will communicate the patient's condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures, and will perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Additionally, the role includes setting up and providing necessary equipment and supplies.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities
