About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at Texas Health Dallas will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves working in a busy procedural area performing cardiac implants and EP studies/ablations. The position offers a great team environment with opportunities for cross-training in other cardiovascular areas. Texas Health Dallas is a Magnet-designated, 875-bed hospital with a long history of serving the North Texas community, specializing in various areas including cardiology, neurosciences, and emergency medicine.

Requirements

  • Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree
  • One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
  • One year experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab; OR two years’ experience in Emergency or Critical Care areas required
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS –Basic Cardiac Life Support—prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
  • ACLS –Advanced Cardiac Life Support—required within 90 days of hire
