About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen Electrophysiology Lab in La Crosse, Wisconsin is growing and seeking a passionate RN to join their team. The position is full-time, 0.875 FTE (70 hours every two weeks) with 10-hour shifts (7:00 am – 5:00 pm). It includes full-time orientation and requires approximately 2 weeknight call shifts every three weeks, with no overnight, weekend, or holiday call. The role is specific to the EP lab, which performs electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, and pacemaker/defibrillator insertions. Requirements

Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
2 years RN experience
Experience caring for cardiac patients required
BLS for healthcare providers
ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire

Nice To Haves

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification a plus

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Cardiotesting, Pre Op, Exercise Physiology, and the Cardiothoracic Surgery teams
Perform electrophysiology studies
Perform radiofrequency ablations
Perform pacemaker and defibrillator insertions
Provide episodic acute care
