About The Position

Deliver direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring high-quality outcomes while following clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient-centered care practices. Implement and monitor patient care plans, assessing patient conditions and adjusting interventions to support recovery, continuity of care, and overall patient outcomes. Coordinate care across the interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication, seamless care coordination, and improved patient experience throughout the healthcare continuum. Document and communicate patient status using Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting compliance, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

1 year plus previous emergency department experience preferred.
