Requirements

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care by implementing and monitoring specialized health care plans, ensuring patient stability and safety in a fast-paced emergency environment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between physicians and diverse clinical teams, advocating for patients to ensure all orders are executed with precision and care is seamlessly integrated.
  • Expertly assess, record, and communicate evolving patient conditions, utilizing clinical expertise to identify critical changes and adapt interventions in real-time.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate comprehensive discharge needs, ensuring patients have the resources and support required for successful transitions of care.
