About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse - ED Overflow (Boarders) at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. This is a contract position (13 week contracts available with opportunity for long-term employment). Assigned to care for patients who are admitted and waiting in the ED on bed availability. This role is at a Level I Trauma Center, a top-ranked hospital in Eastern TN, and a Magnet recognized hospital.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- RN license in the state of Tennessee or Multi-State Compact License
- At least 2 years’ acute care experience (not ED), preferably in an academic level 1 trauma center
- Active BLS
