About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse - ED Overflow (Boarders) at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. This is a contract position with 13-week contracts available and the potential for long-term employment. The role involves caring for patients who are admitted and waiting in the ED due to bed availability. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center, a top-ranked hospital in Eastern Tennessee, and a Magnet-recognized hospital.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- RN license in the state of Tennessee or Multi-State Compact License
- At least 2 years’ acute care experience (not ED), preferably in an academic level 1 trauma center
- Active BLS
Responsibilities
- Care for patients who are admitted and waiting in the ED on bed availability.
