Registered Nurse (RN) - ED Holding - IMCU/MS
About The Position
Come join the Emergency Department at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Be a part of the team that manages Med/Surg and IMC patients! This is a 41-bed Level III Trauma ED with 6 beds dedicated to a lock down psychiatric screening and treatment area. We are a stroke certified ED and receive STEMI and psychiatric patients. The ED treats about 150 patients per day with a dedicated radiology suite in the ED for plain film and CT imaging. The Registered Nursing (RN) works collaboratively with the ED team caring for patients admitted to a med/surg level of care awaiting a room. This RN is part of the Resource Pool and qualifies for an extra Resource Pool Differential.
Requirements
- Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
- BLS
- RN Experienced in a hospital setting.
- Min of 18mos RN Experience on a Medical Surgical or Intermediate Care Unit.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or higher preferred.
