Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services. The ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) Department is fast-paced and interactive. The right candidate with demonstrate quick decision making, self-motivation, and responsiveness. The ECT Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care while coordinating with the treating Psychiatrist and Anesthesiologist providing nursing care before, during, and after ECT treatment, provides emergent nursing care in the event of medical crisis/emergency, makes patient & task assignments to LPN’s MHT’s and others while monitoring their performance of duties. The ECT RN provides training & education to staff, patients, families, & others and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice in the ECT Department. New Grads welcome to apply! ECT treatment days are currently Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The department is closed on Thursdays, weekends and major holidays.

Requirements

The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing, preferred.
Licensure and registration by the Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies as a registered nurse.
Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
ACLS certification MUST be current upon hire or shortly thereafter.
BLS training is provided during training period.

Responsibilities
