About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. They will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
