About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Dialysis unit to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN).
• Current RN licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• BLS
• Minimum 1 year of Dialysis experience

Responsibilities

• Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.
• Effectively communicates fundamental patient/family information to health care team.
• Observes safe practices and maintains a safe environment while caring for the patient.
• Advocate on behalf of the patient and family.
• Identify and appropriately communicate ethical issues in the practice setting.
