About The Position

The Registered Nurse Diagnostic Imaging provides direct nursing care in accordance with established organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. The nurse implements, monitors, records, and communicates patient care plans and changes in patient condition; coordinates care across disciplines as the primary point of contact; executes physician and nursing orders; and assesses and coordinates discharge-planning needs.

This part-time, day-shift role is located at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Previous hospital experience is preferred. Required credentials include Illinois Registered Nurse licensure before the hire or job-transfer date and BLS Provider certification within 30 days of that date. An accredited nursing diploma or the required professional licensure at hire is required.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained before the hire date or job-transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of the hire date or job-transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
