About The Position

This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policies.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• RN - Registered Nurse License - CA-BRN - California Board of Registered Nursing.
• BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association For Labor Pool - Any standard BLS (Heart Code not required) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
• PEARS - Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization - AHA - American Heart Association For employees hired into Apollo, Craycroft, Discovery, Explorer, and Peds Rehab. within 12 months of hire or transfer into position.
• Minimum six (6) months of experience.
• Mastery of RN I performance standards and accompanying competencies.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Program within 12 months of hire or transfer.
