About The Position

This position is for a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) working day shifts (5x8s, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for a 13-week contract in a teaching hospital setting. The RN will support cardiac surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and MAZE procedures. On-call is required (minimum ~6 shifts/month, may increase based on staffing). Floating may occur within scope when no CVOR cases are scheduled.

Requirements

• 2+ years of direct CVOR experience.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification (prior to start).
• Strong experience in cardiac OR cases.
• Call readiness.
• EPIC experience.
• Two recent supervisory references.

Responsibilities
