Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years of recent CV Operating Room experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, aseptic practice, and patient safety.
Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Delivering specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical and other invasive procedures.
Experienced in performing scrub duties, including the handling of complex instruments and supplies during cardiovascular surgeries.
Proficient in monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions while managing overall nursing care throughout the procedure.
Diligent in preparing cardiovascular operating rooms, surgical instruments, and specialized equipment for use.
