About The Position
Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking CVICU RN for a travel/contract positions in New Lenox, IL. We are accepting both local and traveler candidates. This role involves assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within the assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs. The nurse will ensure nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel. Responsibilities also include conducting patient evaluations, documenting patient progress, treatment planning, and discharge functions, along with other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse experience: 2+ years - Required
- CVICU RN experience: 2+ years current - Required
- Open heart experience - Required
- ASN Degree or Diploma in Nursing - Required
- RN License for the State of Illinois – Required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications - Required
- Covid Vaccination Proof - Required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cerner - Preferred
- Thoracic, vascular, interventional experience - preferred
- Prior Travel Nursing experience – Preferred
- BSN Degree in Nursing - Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs.
- Ensuring nursing care plans are carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel.
- Conducting patient evaluation, performing documentation of patient progress, treatment planning and discharge functions.
