About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, trauma, and surgical settings. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, positioning patients safely, and producing high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate medical diagnoses and treatment planning. Both experienced professionals and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or registration as required for the position.
• Current IEMA Radiology licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, radiographic positioning, and imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, radiation protection, and quality imaging practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Conduct imaging procedures for emergency and Level I trauma patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures using C-arm equipment in surgical and sterile environments.
• Conduct portable imaging examinations by transporting equipment to patients' bedside or designated care areas.
• Obtain patient medical histories and verify relevant information before imaging procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer questions, and help ensure their comfort and cooperation.
• Follow physician orders and imaging protocols to determine the appropriate areas for examination.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently while following established procedures.
• Apply appropriate patient positioning and technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
• Adapt imaging procedures to meet the needs of pediatric, elderly, and medically fragile patients.
• Evaluate image quality and collaborate with healthcare providers to determine whether additional images are needed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records using EPIC and the appropriate imaging archive system.
• Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, and patient identification protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report equipment malfunctions when necessary.

• Shift Differentials: $2.75 per hour for night shifts and $2.50 per hour for weekend shifts
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 with a 2-year employment commitment
