About The Position

Provides care to acutely and critically ill patients, in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment. These patients are facing life-threatening problems with varying needs, which require extensive medication protocols and therapies. Provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. This PER DIEM posting is for Various Critical Care (IMC) Departments - including those below, subject to - Current and future openings 1800 W. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and meets the requirements as specified in the Nursing Administrative Policy # PP-101.
• One (1) year intermediate care or higher experience.
• Current License by the Nevada State Board of Nursing to Practice as a Registered Nurse, and meets the requirements as specified in the Nursing Administrative Policies.
• Basic Life support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) at hire.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one (1) year recent, documented critical care RN experience in a similar facility
