Registered Nurse Critical Care
About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care department at Ascension John Jane Phillips in Bartlesville, OK. The position is full-time and involves night shifts. The nurse will champion patient success by implementing, evaluating, and modifying individualized patient care plans. They will act as a patient advocate by monitoring, documenting, and communicating changes in patient status. The nurse will also serve as a central coordinator for care across medical disciplines and meticulously carry out physician and advanced practice provider orders, along with specialized nursing protocols.
Requirements
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
Responsibilities
- Proactively implement, evaluate, and modify individualized patient care plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Continuously monitor, accurately document, and promptly communicate changes in patient status to the care team.
- Serve as the central coordinator, connecting and facilitating seamless, well-orchestrated care across all medical disciplines.
- Meticulously carry out physician and advanced practice provider orders, along with specialized nursing protocols.
