About The Position

As an ICU/CCU RN at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC), you’ll deliver vigilant, evidence-based critical care, collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and advocate for patient safety through every shift. Requirements

Current Arkansas RN license.
BLS at hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
TNCC and ENPC certifications (or commitment to obtain per department timeline).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; professional communication with physicians, staff, patients, and families.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
1–3 years of nursing experience (critical care strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using the full nursing process for patients in a critical care setting.
Coordinate care planning with other disciplines while functioning under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Perform frequent, systematic assessments (at least every two hours) and update care plans accordingly.
Communicate changes in condition to physicians; provide thorough handoff reports to oncoming nurses.
Maintain strict infection prevention practices; support a safe environment of care.
Recognize and respond to emergencies; interpret electrocardiography (EKG) and apply appropriate drug therapies and procedures used in the unit.
Administer, titrate, and document critical care infusions.
Care for immediate post-anesthesia patients when assigned and follow PACU guidelines.
