About The Position

Saint Luke's is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Float Pool! This is a Full-Time Night position, working from 7p-7a. Prior ICU experience is strongly preferred. The nurse will float between our metro entities as well as Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO. The Critical Care Float Pool is looking for an RN who wants to gain experience in various units while working at four facilities across the metro, plus one critical access hospital. The Tier 3 float pool nurse will care for a variety of patient populations and float to the following units: Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU. This role offers the opportunity to work with collaborative multi-disciplinary teams and a supportive leadership team. The nurse will be accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. They will also be responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• 2 years Applicable Experience

Nice To Haves

• Prior ICU experience strongly preferred
