About The Position

This is a Critical Care Float position. The nurse will be part of a float pool and must be willing to float to any unit within the hospital, including the Emergency Department (holds), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Intermediate Medical Surgical Unit (IMCU). The role also requires floating to Medical Surgical (MS) units and taking assignments that could include 6-7 patients. Local candidates (less than 75 miles) are accepted, but travel experience is required. Submission requirements include NURSYS report, licenses verification, and RTO must be included at the time of submission. The EMR system used is Epic.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in ICU.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH required.
• Active NY RN license required at time of submission.
• NURSYS Report.
• Licenses verification with all active RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission.
• Travel experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Float to any unit within the hospital.
• Float to ED (holds), ICU, and IMCU.
• Float to MS and take an assignment that could include 6-7 patients.
