About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Critical Care Float Pool at their Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho. Requirements

Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
BLS certification required.
ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC must be obtained within a designated timeframe.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and impella/Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).

Responsibilities

Float to M ICU, CICU, CVICU, Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU, and the Emergency Department.
Provide cutting-edge, next-level care for critically ill patients.
Stabilize conditions and implement complex treatment plans.
Manage the highest acuity cases in the region, treating patients with complex neuro, cardiac, surgical, and trauma needs.
Work independently and autonomously, utilizing critical thinking skills and clinical expertise.
Participate in specialty device training, including CRRT, IABP, and potentially Impella/ECMO.
Receive ED-specific training.
