About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Coordinator in Pediatric Outpatient Cardiac Services at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. The position is full-time, working days. The nurse will provide direct patient care, monitor patient progress, update care plans, coordinate with the healthcare team, and support patient discharge.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct, compassionate care and carry out doctor orders following all hospital safety guidelines.
Track health progress, update care plans, and keep the team informed of any changes in patient condition.
Serve as the main point of contact between doctors, therapists, and specialists to keep care seamless and organized.
Assess patient needs early and work with the team to ensure a safe, smooth transition back home or to follow-up care.
