About The Position

This role involves providing person-centred nursing care and case management to support clients within the community. The Registered Nurse will assess individual needs, coordinate services with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to quality improvement activities to promote safe and effective care delivery. Responsibilities also include providing health education, supporting students and new staff, and contributing to positive patient outcomes through evidence-based nursing practice. The position is part-time, 0.84 FTE, and ongoing, with a base salary range of $77,824 - $106,187 p.a (pro rata). The role is located in Whyalla within the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network.

Requirements

Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills within a healthcare environment.
Ability to prioritise workload and provide safe, consumer and family-centred care.
Demonstrated competence in community nursing practice in line with professional standards.
Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
Immunisation compliance.
