About The Position
This role involves providing person-centred nursing care and case management to support the health and wellbeing of clients within the community. The nurse will assess individual needs, coordinate services with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to quality improvement activities to promote safe and effective care delivery. Additionally, the role includes supporting health education, participating in ongoing professional development, and providing guidance to less experienced staff and students.
Requirements
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills within a healthcare environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload and provide safe, consumer and family-centred care.
- Demonstrated competence in community nursing practice in line with professional standards.
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
- Immunisation compliance.
