About The Position

Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join their team. This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Scheduling Coordinator. The role is full-time, Monday - Friday, during the day. The individual in this role is self-directed and functions independently, serving as an agent to improve customer service and provide a layer of safety throughout the scheduling process. Responsibilities include delegating tasks appropriately, training new employees in this area, and managing customer service and safety in scheduling for Cardiovascular (CV) procedures throughout SLHS. The coordinator assesses and develops a scheduling plan, reviews it with the multidisciplinary team, and implements the plan, ensuring the patient is scheduled at the correct location, day, and time. They utilize the Appropriate Use Criteria for all imaging modalities to select the correct imaging study and regularly participate in the evaluation of the scheduling process to ensure the patient is placed in the safest environment possible. This role also evaluates resources needed to safely perform the designated procedure, requiring advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • 6-9 years of applicable experience.
  • Registered Nurse - Various.
  • Associate Degree - Nursing.

Responsibilities
