About The Position

Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join their team. This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Scheduling Coordinator. The schedule is Full Time, Monday - Friday, Days. The role is self-directed and functions independently, serving as an agent to improve customer service and provide a layer of safety throughout the scheduling process. The coordinator is responsible for all training of new employees in this area and for customer service and safety in scheduling for CV procedures throughout SLHS. The role involves assessing and developing a scheduling plan, reviewing it with the multidisciplinary team, and implementing the plan to ensure the patient is scheduled at the correct location, day, and time. The coordinator utilizes the Appropriate Use Criteria for all imaging modalities for the selection of the correct imaging study and participates regularly in the evaluation of the scheduling process to ensure the patient is placed in the safest environment possible. This role evaluates resources needed to safely perform the designated procedure, requiring advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • 6-9 years Registered Nurse - Various
  • Associate Degree - Nursing

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all training of new employees in this area.
