Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

• Pediatric CCU experience and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, assign, and monitor nursing staff during shifts, utilizing independent judgment to ensure high-quality patient care
• Manage daily patient/physician dynamics, resolve clinical complaints, and maintain productivity standards while justifying any budget or staffing variances.
• Facilitate the availability of all necessary equipment, materials, and supplies required for optimal unit functionality.
• Oversee shift education and provide direct input on the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of unit personnel.
