About The Position

This role involves leading shift operations and staff workflows across high-acuity specialty units to deliver quality clinical care. The position requires independent judgment to prioritize shift workflows, align physician dynamics, and adapt to changing patient needs. The lead will also be responsible for distributing population-appropriate patient assignments while maintaining unit productivity metrics and managing variances. Additionally, the role involves securing essential clinical supplies, equipment, and resources to support uninterrupted shift delivery, and serving as a front-line advocate to resolve care concerns while contributing to staff hiring, education, and performance reviews.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
2 years of ED experience
Leadership experience
